đź§ľ What is a Eurail Pass?
The Eurail Pass is a single train ticket that lets you travel freely across 33 European countries on participating train networks for a set number of travel days.
It’s available only for non-European citizens or residents.
If you’re a European citizen or legally live in Europe, you’ll need an Interrail Pass instead.
🎟️ Types of Eurail Pass
Eurail Global Pass: unlimited travel in 33 European countries.
Eurail One Country Pass: valid for travel within one European country.

🔓 How to activate your pass
You can activate your pass:
Online at checkout (using Eurail’s activation service), or
At any European train station free of charge.
Your Eurail Pass must be activated within 11 months of the issue date.
đź’¶ Refunds
You can request a refund if:
Your pass has not been activated, and
You submit your request within six months from the last possible activation date.
Refunds must be processed via the Eurail App for mobile passes.
đź’ş Seat reservations
Regional trains: no seat reservation needed.
High-speed or sleeper trains: a paid reservation is required and can be booked directly in the Eurail App or on the Eurail website.
If you have trouble booking, try again at off-peak times, check directly on the carrier’s website, or contact Eurail support.

Refund rules vary by carrier.
You can check and request refunds directly from the Eurail App or website under your pass overview.
