Mobile Tickets and etickets are not valid on the London Underground.
This means that if you search for a journey that includes Tube travel, we won’t offer Mobile Tickets or etickets for that route.
🚆 Travelling on a different route
If your ticket says “Any Route Permitted”, you can choose to travel using a different rail route from the one shown when you booked.
However, this flexibility does not make your Mobile Ticket or eticket valid on the Tube.
🚇 Travelling via the London Underground with a Mobile Ticket or eticket
If you decide to take a route that includes Underground travel:
Your Mobile Ticket / eticket is not valid for the Tube journey
You will need to buy a separate London Underground ticket, or
Use an Oyster card or a contactless payment method
