An Open Return ticket lets you be flexible with your return journey — you don’t need to choose a specific train time in advance.
How to buy an Open Return
There are two ways to book:
Return journey search: You’ll be asked to choose your return train, even if the ticket is Open Return.
Open Return search: You’ll get the same ticket, but you won’t need to pick a return train.
Why choose an Open Return?
If you’re not sure when you’ll come back, an Open Return lets you travel back any time within the validity period.
If you’d prefer to reserve a seat, book a Return ticket instead.
