Need to change or refund your ticket?
- Open your confirmation email and click “Manage booking”.
Can’t find it? Search your inbox for auto-confirm@info.thetrainline.com.
If you have an account, log in to see all your bookings in one place.
Advance Single tickets
You can change the date or time of travel — but the departure and arrival stations must stay the same.
The easiest way to do this is online in My Bookings.
How changes work

eTickets:
You pay the difference between your original and new ticket, plus a change fee.If the new ticket is cheaper, you’ll still pay the fee but won’t get a refund for the difference.
Mobile and paper tickets:
We’ll refund you the cheaper of your two tickets (original or new), then deduct a change fee based on ticket value.

Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak and Anytime tickets
These tickets can’t be changed, but they can be refunded.
Simply cancel your existing booking and buy new tickets for your preferred time.
